The hotel was a complete disappointment. The rooms were run down with wallpaper hanging off the walls, and the staff at reception were incredibly rude. Despite being promised an upgrade for our anniversary, we were abruptly told we would have to pay for it, which we found unacceptable. The only redeeming quality was the big and clean breakfast, although it left much to be desired compared to the decor.
